Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager - Credit Cards role based in Coimbatore. The Sales Manager will lead and manage a team of sales executives to drive credit card acquisition, cross selling and portfolio growth within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, generating leads through multiple channels, and building relationships with customers, partners, and intermediaries. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver effective credit card solutions to customers.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and relationship building.
Experience in retail banking or financial services, preferably in credit cards or consumer lending.




Knowledge of credit card products, risk and compliance requirements, and basic banking regulations.
Proficiency in communication and negotiation, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present solutions clearly.
Team leadership capabilities, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and engaging sales teams.
Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office applications, and digital platforms for reporting and customer engagement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Proven track record in meeting sales targets and managing field sales operations in a fast-paced environment.
High degree of integrity, customer-centric mindset, and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and security.
