Role Description The Paintshop Technician role is a full time, on-site position based in Kanchipuram. This role involves preparing plastic components for painting, operating and monitoring paintshop equipment, and ensuring correct mixing and application of paints and coatings according to specifications. The Paintshop Technician will perform routine checks on surface quality, color consistency, and finish,



and will carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of paint booths, spray guns, and related machinery. Responsibilities also include following safety and environmental guidelines, maintaining production records, supporting quality audits, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications

Practical knowledge of paintshop operations, including surface preparation, masking, and spray painting for plastic components.
Ability to handle paints, thinners, and coatings safely, with an understanding of mixing ratios, curing times, and finish requirements.
Familiarity with operating and maintaining paint booths, ovens, conveyors, and basic paintshop tools and equipment.
Awareness of safety, health, and environmental practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to workplace safety standards.
