Indian Startup News (ISN) is looking for a Sales Executive to drive subscriptions for The Indian Dream (TID), its premium startup and business publication.

This is a sales-focused role for someone who is comfortable speaking with potential subscribers over calls, following up with leads, understanding their requirements and converting interested prospects into paid subscribers.

What you'll do

Call and follow up with prospective TID subscribers

Explain TID's subscription plans, content and membership advantages

Convert inbound and existing leads into paid subscriptions

Follow up consistently with interested prospects

Handle queries and objections during the sales process

Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups and conversions

Work toward weekly and monthly subscription targets

Identify opportunities for renewals and subscription upgrades

Share customer feedback with the content and business teams





Who we're looking for

Previous experience in telesales, inside sales or subscription sales is preferred

Experience selling media subscriptions, magazines, memberships, EdTech, SaaS or similar products will be an advantage

Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills

Comfortable making calls and regular follow-ups

Ability to build relationships with prospective customers

Target-oriented and comfortable working with sales numbers

Familiarity with CRM or lead-management tools is a plus

Experience

1–3 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
