Role Description
The Inside Sales Representative role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the individual will manage inbound and outbound calls, qualify leads, and convert prospects into opportunities through consultative selling. Daily responsibilities include understanding client requirements, presenting relevant Softrate™ solutions, preparing and following up on proposals, and maintaining an organized sales pipeline using CRM tools.



The role also involves collaborating with marketing and technical teams to align sales efforts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and providing consistent feedback on market trends and customer needs. The Inside Sales Representative will contribute to building long-term client relationships and supporting overall revenue growth.

Qualifications
Experience in inside sales or business development, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct persuasive calls, online demos, and professional email correspondence.
Good understanding of technology products or services, with the ability to learn and explain software solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office tools, and basic data analysis to track performance and organize sales activities.
