1. Role Purpose
The AVP – EV Truck & Bus Maintenance will lead the end-to-end maintenance strategy and operations for the company's electric truck and bus fleet across multiple locations.
The role will be responsible for ensuring high fleet availability, reliability, safety, optimum maintenance cost, effective workshop operations and lifecycle management of EV assets.
The role requires robust exposure to commercial electric vehicles,



specifically both electric trucks and electric buses, along with a strong understanding of fleet operations and workshop management.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. EV Fleet Maintenance Strategy
Develop and implement the overall maintenance strategy for electric buses and trucks.
Establish standard maintenance practices, SOPs, checklists and service schedules across all locations.
Ensure maximum vehicle availability and minimum unplanned downtime.
Develop preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs based on vehicle usage, duty cycle, route conditions and OEM recommendations.
Establish vehicle/component lifecycle management strategies.
Identify recurring failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
Standardise maintenance processes across depots and workshops.
B. EV Technical Management
Provide technical leadership for the complete EV architecture, including:
