This is a senior, hands-on cloud database engineering role focused on improving the reliability, scalability and operational excellence of Toku's production database platform. Working closely with our Lead Database Engineer, you will own production operations, solve complex incidents, automate repetitive database workflows,



and help modernise how engineering and database teams collaborate. Rather than simply administering databases, you'll improve the systems, processes and tooling that keep our platform running at scale. What you will be doing

Production Database Operations: Own the day-to-day operation, health, availability and continuous improvement of Toku's production MySQL databases running on AWS RDS, ensuring reliability across our global SaaS platform.
Incident Management & Operational Ownership: Take ownership of production incidents, perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis, restore service quickly, and drive permanent improvements that reduce repeat operational issues.
