Role Description The Bakery Head Chef is a full-time, on-site role based at Vienna Bakehouse & Kitchen in Bengaluru. This role oversees daily bakery operations, including planning production schedules, managing prep, and ensuring consistent quality of breads, viennoiserie, pastries, and desserts. The Bakery Head Chef develops and refines recipes, designs seasonal menus,



and monitors ingredient usage to maintain both creativity and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising and training bakery staff, assigning tasks, enforcing food safety and hygiene standards, and maintaining kitchen equipment and workstations. The role also involves coordinating with front-of-house and café teams to align production with service demands, addressing customer feedback, and supporting a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in artisan baking and pastry techniques, including viennoiserie, bread-making, and dessert preparation.
Proficiency in kitchen operations, including production planning, inventory control, and cost management.
