Role Description The Fashion Designer & Merchandiser will work full time on-site at our Mumbai studio, collaborating closely with the design and production teams. The role includes developing seasonal collections, creating detailed design concepts, selecting fabrics and trims, and overseeing sampling and fittings to ensure quality and fit. The individual will support merchandising activities such as product assortment planning, visual presentation, and coordination with sales and marketing to align collections with brand positioning.



Responsibilities also include researching trends, incorporating sustainable practices into design decisions, and maintaining brand consistency across all product lines.

Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of fashion, textiles, fabrics, pattern making, and garment construction.
Good understanding of fitting, sampling, and product development.
Knowledge of merchandising, product assortment, and visual presentation.
Strong aesthetic sense and excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.
A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred.
Must be based in Mumbai and available to work full time out of our office in South Bombay.
Working days/hours: Monday–Saturday (alternate Saturdays), 10 AM–7 PM.
