Senior Accountant (Australian Accounting) Fig Advisory | Onsite – Mohali/Chanidgarh - India | Full-Time | AU Shift

We are building a high-performance team and looking for experienced accounting professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional financial support to Australian businesses.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with Australian accounting experience to support our clients across financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and business advisory functions.

At Fig Advisory, you'll become a trusted financial partner to Australian businesses while working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.

Financial Reporting & Accounting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage general ledger reconciliations and journal entries

Review and maintain accurate financial records

Prepare management reports and financial analysis

Australian Tax & Compliance

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and payroll tax

Prepare workpapers for tax returns and year-end compliance





Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements

Assist with FBT, GST, and other statutory obligations

Respond to accounting and financial enquiries professionally

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes

Assist with audit preparation and documentation

Support junior accountants and share technical knowledge where required

QualificationsSkills & Experience

Minimum 3+ years of Australian accounting experience

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance

Experience preparing BAS, IAS, GST, and financial statements

Proficient in Xero (required)

Experience with MYOB or QuickBooks is an advantage

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent written and verbal English communication

Ownership – Takes accountability and delivers quality work
