About the Role : The ideal candidate will have robust creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience working with numerous design platforms, such as digital and print forms.

Design and layout pages for the magazine and digital publications.

Create visually compelling infographics, illustrations, and page designs.

Work closely with editors, photographers and the digital team to produce high-quality editorial content.

Ensure adherence to Sportstar's design standards, brand identity and production deadlines.

Minimum 5 years of experience in newspaper or magazine page design.

Degree or diploma in Graphic Design,



Visual Communication or a related field.

Prior experience in editorial design and publication production is mandatory.

Experience with sports publications will be an added advantage.

Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is essential.

Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, colour management, typography, Image resolution, infographic skills and print production workflows.

Basic understanding of digital design, social media creatives and motion graphics (Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro) will be an added advantage.

Experience with sports publications will be an added advantage.
