WE’RE HIRING | JEWELLERY DESIGNER
Maison Megh is looking for a Jewellery Designer to join our design team in Gurgaon.
We’re looking for someone who is deeply curious about jewellery, materials and form, and wants to build pieces that feel unexpected, playful and distinctly Maison Megh.
What you’ll be doing
• Develop new jewellery concepts and collections from initial idea to final product
• Translate creative direction, references and sketches into jewellery designs
• Create hand sketches, design sheets and/or CAD designs
• Work closely with our production partners to develop samples and take designs into production
• Understand proportions, construction, stone setting, finishing and manufacturing feasibility
• Iterate designs based on sampling and production feedback
• Research materials, techniques, references and new ways of working with silver
• Maintain organised design files, product specifications and design libraries
• Work closely with the founder and wider creative team across collections, campaigns and new product development
What we’re looking for
• 1–4 years of experience in jewellery or product design
• Strong understanding of jewellery construction and manufacturing
• Excellent design sensibility and attention to detail
• Strong sketching and visualisation skills
• CAD experience is a robust plus (Rhino / Matrix / similar)
• Understanding of gemstones, settings, metals and finishing
• Someone who can think conceptually but also obsess over the smallest technical detail
• Someone who is curious, experimental and not afraid to challenge conventional ideas of what jewellery can be
A background in jewellery design, product design, fashion or a related discipline is preferred.
Most importantly: we’re looking for someone with a strong point of view. Someone who sees jewellery as an object, a material and a form of storytelling
