About the Role
Schbang is rebuilding its Communications function. The previous Communications Lead role tried to own everything — internal comms, cross-team coordination, PR, and social — and that combination made it impossible to do any one of them well. We're splitting it into three focused functions: Corporate Communications & Reputation, Communications Operations & Internal Comms, and Social & Content. This JD is for the last one.
The Social & Content Lead owns Schbang's presence on Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube — turning the company's narrative into content people actually want to watch, save and share. You'll set the strategy, build and run the content calendar, spot what's working before it's obvious, and lead the team that turns your briefs into finished work: 3 video editors, 2 graphic designers and a communications writer.
This is a hybrid strategist-manager role. Half the job is deciding what Schbang should say and where. The other half is running a small creative team well enough that positive ideas consistently ship on time and at quality.



You'll report to the Head of Communications, who sets the overall narrative — your job is to translate that into a channel and content strategy, and make it land.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategy & Content
Develop and Execute Strategy: Design and implement a robust social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X to align with overall business goals and brand. Define content pillars, tone, and the editorial/content calendar
Content Creation & Curation: Ideate, write, and oversee the production of high-quality, visually appealing content (Reels, Carousels, Stories, and videos) tailored to the agency niche. You are happy to appear on camera, shoot, edit and handle everything yourself, OR you can delegate these tasks to the respective team members.
Community Building: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, basic knowledge of agency as a business is appreciated. Understand each platf
