Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AEM Sites Backend Developer/Lead with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager. The candidate should have strong expertise in AEM backend development, Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, workflows, integrations, and AEM architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable AEM Sites backend components and services.
Build Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi services, JCR repositories, workflows, templates, and components.
Develop backend logic and content structures in AEM.
Integrate AEM with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Manage AEM workflows, replication, author/publish environments, and content delivery.
Work on performance optimization, scalability, security, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business stakeholders.




Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR/Apache Jackrabbit.
Experience with Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi services, AEM Workflows, MSM.
Good understanding of HTL (Sightly), Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
Hands-on experience with Apache Felix, CRXDE, Maven, Git, Dispatcher, and caching strategies.
Strong experience in RESTful services and third-party integrations.
Good debugging, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Adobe AEM certification is preferred.
