Role Description The Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering will engage in full-time, on-site teaching and academic activities at the Jalandhar I campus. Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, conducting tutorials and laboratory sessions,



and guiding students in projects and seminars. The role involves developing and updating course materials, participating in curriculum design, and integrating modern mechanical engineering topics such as robotics, heat transfer, and solid mechanics into teaching. The Assistant Professor will conduct research, publish scholarly work, mentor students, and participate in departmental meetings, accreditation processes, and other institutional initiatives.
Qualifications
Ability to design and improve academic programs, with solid skills in Curriculum Development and student-centered pedagogy.
Expertise in core Mechanical Engineering domains such as Heat Transfer and Solid Mechanics.
Knowledge and experience in Robotics and related emerging technologies in mechanical and automation engineering.
Proven competence in Research, including conducting studies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and
