Job Description:
As a Junior Site Speed & Performance Specialist, you will support the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of website performance across key tools (e.g., Datadog RUM/APM, SpeedCurve, Lighthouse). You will help identify performance regressions, maintain dashboards, support CRO A/B test performance checks, assist with release monitoring, help maintain a performance backlog in Jira, and provide recommendations to improve site speed and overall performance based on your findings and data insights. This role works closely with Engineering, CRO, Product, and Analytics teams and is designed to grow your skills in web performance and performance operations.

Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this role is to help keep vidaXL webshops rapid and stable by ensuring performance is monitored consistently, regressions are flagged early, and performance insights are documented clearly and converted into actionable follow-ups. Your work contributes to improved Core Web Vitals, reduced performance regressions from releases/experiments, and better customer experience across key journeys.





Responsibilities / Core Tasks
Monitoring & Reporting
Daily monitoring: Support daily checks of dashboards and alerts for key pages (Home, Search/PLP, PDP, Cart, Checkout) and help flag anomalies or regressions with supporting evidence.
Weekly reporting support: Support preparation of weekly performance updates (charts/tables, deltas, first-level commentary) using defined templates and time windows.
Core Web Vitals tracking: Support ongoing CWV monitoring (LCP, INP, CLS) by collecting data, identifying trends, and highlighting meaningful changes for review.
Release monitoring support: Support release performance monitoring by running pre and post checks for key pages, comparing agreed time windows, and helping summarize any impact or regressions with supporting evidence for stakeholder updates.
