Position: Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) Grade: Gurugram (Corporate Office)

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing cost accounting activities, inventory valuation, product costing, financial analysis, and cost optimization initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing/Commissary, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate costing, improve profitability, and support strategic business decisions.

Cost Accounting & Product Costing

Inventory Accounting & Control

Manage inventory valuation in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Monitor inventory movements, stock adjustments, and reconciliations.

Analyze inventory ageing, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.

Coordinate with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy.

Ensure timely inventory reconciliations between physical stock and ERP records.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and cost analysis reports.

Conduct variance analysis for material consumption, production costs,



and inventory.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Present financial insights and recommendations to management.

Track and report savings achieved through cost optimization projects.

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Support internal, statutory, and cost audits.

Maintain accurate costing documentation and audit records.

Assist in implementing process improvements for cost accounting and reporting.

ERP & Process Improvement

Work on SAP (CO/FI/MM) or other ERP systems for costing and reporting.

Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI (preferred).

CMA (Qualified) – Mandatory

B.Com / M.Com (preferred)

Experience

~4–7 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, Plant Finance, or Commercial Finance.

~ Experience in QSR, FMCG, Food & Beverage
