We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vice President/Sr. Manager - BD to join our team at Excel Maritime. This role is pivotal in driving business development initiatives within the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. Lead Generation: Identify and develop recent business opportunities within the logistics industry, focusing on freight forwarding.
Business Development:
Formulate and implement strategies to enhance market presence and increase sales.
Consistently meet or exceed set sales targets and objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Proven experience in lead generation and business development within the logistics sector.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and market dynamics.
Any Bachelor's/Master degree in Logistics, or a related field.
~2-3 years of relevant experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics industry.
