Position: Teacher Librarian (IB)
The Teacher Librarian will be responsible for the effective management and development of the whole-school library, supporting learning across the EY to MYP. This is a full-time role and focuses on promoting a strong reading culture, inquiry-based learning, research skills, and information literacy while ensuring the library provides an engaging, inclusive, and well-resourced environment for pupils and staff.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the whole-school library.
• Curate, organise, and maintain print and digital library resources.
• Collaborate with teachers to support inquiry-based learning and research.
• Promote reading, information literacy, and responsible use of library resources.
• Deliver library orientation and research skills sessions for pupils.
• Manage cataloguing, circulation, acquisitions, inventory, and library systems.
• Organise reading initiatives, book fairs, author visits, and other library events.
• Ensure the library operates in line with school policies, safeguarding, and IB standards.
• Participate in school events and meetings.
Prior experience in an IB School is mandatory.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in library and information science (or equivalent).
• Experience in managing a school library and library management systems.
