Sorta Famous is a PR, social media, and influencer marketing agency based in Mumbai, working across brand communications, digital strategy, and talent partnerships.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities for the agency. This role requires prior experience working within a PR, social media, or marketing agency setting, with a clear understanding of agency service offerings, client acquisition cycles, and proposal development.

Identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, cold outreach, and referrals.

• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and maintain an updated pipeline in the call/lead tracker.





• Schedule and conduct discovery calls and meetings with prospective clients to understand their requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams (PR, Social Media, Talent) to develop tailored proposals and pitch decks.

• Minimum 2-4 years of business development / client acquisition experience, with prior experience in a PR, social media, or marketing agency mandatory.

• Proficiency with CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and pitch deck preparation (PowerPoint).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
