Position Summary: The Senior Electrical/Control Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of electrical and control systems for automated manufacturing equipment and production lines. This role leads technical activities related to PLC, HMI, motion control, industrial networking,
and machine integration while ensuring compliance with safety and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical and control system design for automation equipment and manufacturing systems. Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring standards. Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, motion control, servo, and robotic systems. Integrate equipment with factory MES, SCADA, database, and Industry 4.0 platforms. Review customer requirements and translate them into control system designs. Define electrical BOMs and select appropriate electrical components. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with machine safety standards. Perform system commissioning, FAT, SAT, and site startup activities. Support equipment validation, qualification, and troubleshooting. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during project execution.
