Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning Description - Job Summary This role is responsible for providing direct leadership to a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers focusing on service supply chain planning to support the growth of service revenues. The role collaborates with executive leadership to refine service supply chain strategic goals in alignment with the company's mission, and monitors progress towards these goals. The role oversees the planning of service parts to deliver availability of parts in various stocking locations while managing inventory to targets. In addition, the role will support strategic transformation projects to build new capabilities and expand digital backbone of the service supply chain.
Responsibilities • Provides direct and ongoing leadership to a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers to plan and manager the service parts for a region/ business unit. • Defines and drives vision, strategy, and processes for key strategic initiatives to help the company expand into recent markets, business lines, and opportunities. • Collaborates with the executive leadership to refine the organization's service supply chain strategic goals and objectives, and leads the development and implementation of plans that align with the company's mission and vision. • Monitors and evaluates progress toward strategic goals, and communicates the updates to the senior leadership and executives. • Works cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality control, rand customer support to deliver spare parts at the required service levels while achieving inventory and cost targets • Manages strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services
