Role Description The Team Leader role at Paytm is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirunelveli. The Team Leader will oversee a frontline team, monitor daily operations, and ensure achievement of sales and service targets related to Paytm products and services. This role includes coaching and motivating team members, allocating tasks, reviewing performance metrics, and driving adherence to process and compliance standards. The Team Leader will handle escalated customer issues, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders,



and provide regular reports and insights to management. The position requires consistent on-ground presence to guide the team, conduct briefings, and maintain a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications

Strong team leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in digital payments, fintech, or financial services.
Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and use insights to improve processes and team performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and local language, with a customer-centric approach.
Comfort with mobile apps, UPI, and digital payment products, with the ability to train others on usage and advantages.
Proven organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and reliability in on-site operations.
