Role Description The Lawyer will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s Mumbai office. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to ship financing, vessel acquisition, and international transactions. The role involves advising clients on corporate incorporation in the UAE and India, preparing legal opinions, and ensuring compliance with relevant maritime and corporate laws. The Lawyer will conduct legal research, support transaction structuring,



coordinate with external stakeholders, and assist in due diligence for cross-border deals. Collaboration with partners and team members to manage timelines, support client communication, and maintain accurate documentation is an integral part of the position.
Qualifications
Strong skills in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, particularly for financing and acquisition transactions.
Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and preparation of transparent, well-reasoned legal opinions and memoranda.
Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, with exposure to cross-border transactions, especially involving the UAE and India.
Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with international clients and stakeholders.
