Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The primary responsibilities of the Dy. Manager-Transmission PU Maintenance will encompass the comprehensive upkeep and optimisation of transmission power unit systems within Mahindra tractors. Key deliverables include:
- Maintaining operational efficiency by overseeing all maintenance activities related to transmission systems, ensuring minimum downtime and optimal performance.
- Proactively identifying and resolving chronic and recurring issues impacting system reliability, utilising root cause analysis and preventive strategies.
- Planning and coordinating spare parts management to ensure timely availability and cost-effective inventory control, thereby minimising production delays.
- Leading preventive maintenance (PM) initiatives, ensuring scheduled maintenance tasks are effectively executed to uphold system integrity and safety standards.
- Conducting in-depth failure and breakdown (b/d) analyses to develop corrective actions and continuous improvements, fostering enhanced equipment durability and reliability.




- Driving safety adherence protocols specific to transmission maintenance operations, supervising compliance with company and industry safety standards to protect personnel and assets.
- Spearheading new project implementations related to transmission systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to design validation, and facilitating smooth integration into existing production lines.
- Mentoring and developing maintenance teams by sharing technical expertise and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
