Job Purpose:
The Lead - Incoming & NDT (QA Blade)
manages quality assurance for incoming inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of blade components, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards. This role oversees material validation, coordinates NDT processes, manages non-conformances, and maintains comprehensive quality records. The position involves leading and training QA teams, developing inspection protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall quality and integrity of blade manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Quality Management of Incoming Materials and NDT Processes
- Lead QA activities for incoming inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of blade components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols that include NDT methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and thermographic inspection for defect detection.
