Job Purpose:
The Lifting Specialist is responsible for planning, supervising,
and ensuring the protected execution of all lifting and rigging activities within the modular manufacturing yard. The role ensures that all lifts are conducted in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, statutory regulations, and industry best practices, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and equipment integrity.
Job Role:
Lifting Planning and Execution
- Prepare, review, and approve lifting plans for routine, critical, and heavy lifts.
- Ensure lifting operations are properly risk assessed and method statements are in place before execution.
- Coordinate with operations, production, transport, rigging, and HSE teams for lifting activities.
- Supervise crane operations, rigging activities, and load handling to ensure safe and accurate execution.
- Verify load weights, center of gravity, lifting points, crane capacity, ground conditions, and lifting accessories before lifts.
