Job Description – Compliance Manager (Regulatory)

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager – Regulatory to ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines, manage interactions with regulatory bodies, and oversee timely and accurate submissions on the RBI’s DAKSH portal. The role demands strong coordination skills, regulatory understanding, and experience in compliance governance within the banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance Management

Ensure strict compliance with all circulars, guidelines, frameworks, and instructions issued by regulators.

Act as the primary liaison between the regulator and internal bank verticals.

Conduct compliance risk assessments and provide insights to internal teams.

RBI & DAKSH Portal Compliance

Manage and respond to all Adhoc Queries raised by DoS–RBI through the DAKSH portal.

Ensure 100% on-time submission of all returns, data, and documents on the DAKSH portal.

Maintain zero-error documentation in submissions to regulators.

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with internal teams to gather required information within stipulated timelines.

Resolve RBI inspection findings within agreed timelines.

Regulatory Advisory Dissemination

Analyze and circulate new RBI advisories, restricted circulars, and email instructions to relevant business units.

Track and reduce average turnaround time for dissemination of regulatory communications.

Query Resolution

Handle ad-hoc regulatory queries and provide clarifications to business units promptly.

Ensure timely and accurate internal communications related to regulatory expectations.

Education Requirements

-
Graduate with skilled qualifications such as CA, CS, ICWA preferred.

Experience Requirements

-
3–5+ years of experience in a commercial bank’s Compliance, Internal Audit, or Core Risk Management function.
