Job Title: B2 - Data Engineering

Key accountabilities:

As a Data Engineer you will be accountable for:
- Understanding operational needs by collaborating with specialized teams
- Supporting key AXA business operations. This involves architecture designing, building and deploying data systems, pipelines etc
- Build agile, scalable, and cost efficiency solution on cloud data services.

Technical and qualified skills:

We are looking for a flexible, fast learning, technically strong Data Engineer. Expertise is required in the following fields:
- Proficient in Cloud Services –Azure
- Build ETL and data movement solutions.
- Migrate data from traditional database systems to Cloud environment
- Strong hands-on experience for working with Streaming dataset
- Building Complex Notebook in Databricks to achieve business Transformations.
- Strong Hands-on Experience in Data Refinement using Pyspark and Spark SQL




- Familiarity with building dataset using Scala.
- Good Understanding with tools such as Jira and GitHub
- Experience leading agile scrum, sprint planning and review sessions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- True team player who is comfortable working in a global team
- Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders quickly in order to collaborate on use cases

Background and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6-11 years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering.
