Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality inspection team across incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Develop and implement inspection plans, procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable standards.
- Monitor inspection activities and ensure timely release of products.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with production and engineering teams.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external customer and certification audits.
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
- Analyze quality data, prepare KPIs, and present performance reports to management.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and measuring instruments.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of quality inspectors.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase,



and Sales departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and other quality tools.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer standards, and statutory quality requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
- 5–15 years of experience in Quality Inspection/Quality Assurance in manufacturing.

- Experience in automotive, engineering, fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or precision machining industries is preferred.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of quality inspection techniques and standards.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment.
