Job Description:

Assistant Manager / Manager – Production

Location: Palghar
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Mechanical / DME
Industry: Packaging Machine Manufacturing – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules and achieve production targets.
- Supervise manufacturing, fabrication and assembly of packaging machines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and production resources.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Monitor machine assembly, testing, quality and timely completion for dispatch.
- Reduce production delays, rejection, rework and wastage.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.




- Maintain production reports/MIS and ensure shop-floor safety and discipline.

Candidate Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant production experience.
- Must be currently/recently working with a Packaging Machine Manufacturing company.
- Valuable knowledge of machine manufacturing, assembly, engineering drawings and BOM.
- Exposure to fabrication, machining, FAT/QAP and ERP/SAP will be preferred.
- Good manpower handling and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Industry Exposure: Filling, Sealing, Labeling, Capping, Cartoning, Wrapping, Bundling, Blister/Pouch Packing or other automated packaging machinery.
