Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, bank reconciliation, accounts payable & receivable, GST & TDS compliance, payroll processing, accounts finalisation, and financial reporting. Candidates with experience in the Stock Broking, Financial Services, Banking, or NBFC industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Trial balance.
- Pass journal entries and maintain the General Ledger.
- Prepare, verify,



and process invoices, vouchers, debit notes, credit notes, and payment records.
- Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure timely GST compliance.
- Deduct, reconcile, and deposit TDS, prepare TDS working, and assist in filing quarterly TDS returns.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts finalisation.
- Prepare schedules for statutory audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
- Process payroll, salary disbursement, and maintain payroll-related records.
- Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, clients, and statutory author
