Key Responsibilities

Footage Review: Assist in reviewing and organizing raw video footage, selecting the best shots for editing based on criteria such as composition, clarity, and narrative coherence.

Editing: Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble footage, trim clips, add transitions, overlays, and effects, and ensure seamless continuity between scenes.

Color Grading: Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the overall look and feel of the video, ensuring consistency and visual coherence across all clips.

Audio Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to achieve optimal balance and clarity, and synchronize with video footage.

Graphics and Titles: Create and integrate graphics, text overlays, and titles to provide context, branding, and visual interest, following established style guidelines.

File Management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital asset management system for video files, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility for future reference.





Collaboration: Collaborate closely with videographers, photographers, and other team members throughout the editing process, incorporating feedback and adjustments as needed to achieve the desired outcome.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations in terms of quality, accuracy, and storytelling effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Strong understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, rhythm, and narrative structure.

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and storytelling.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
