Why this role

This is not a traditional customer success role.

As the first Technical Account Manager at Adaptive, you'll own the technical relationship with our enterprise customers post-sale and help build the foundation for how we manage and grow customer accounts as we scale.

You'll work directly with DevOps, Security, SRE, and Engineering teams to deploy, operationalize, and expand Adaptive across complex production environments. You'll be hands-on with infrastructure, troubleshoot real technical problems, and become a trusted technical partner to our customers.

You'll directly influence adoption, expansion, retention, and long-term customer success, while helping define the processes, playbooks, and best practices for the TAM function at Adaptive.

What you'll do
- Own the post-sales technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers
- Lead customer onboarding and deployments across cloud infrastructure, databases, VMs, and Kubernetes
- Work hands-on with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Engineering teams in production environments
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's architecture, security requirements, and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues across IAM, networking, authentication, databases, secrets, and access workflows
- Own technical escalations and work closely with Adaptive's engineering team to drive issues through resolution
- Drive product adoption and measurable security and compliance outcomes across custo
