Junior Engineer (Civil) Grade - 2, Kochi

SYSTRA India, a global leader in engineering and consulting for public transport infrastructure, is looking for a Junior Engineer (Civil) Grade - 2 to join the Kochi Metro Project. SYSTRA has been a key partner in over 80% of metro projects across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Kochi. As the General Consultant (GC) for Phase-II of the Kochi Metro Rail Project, SYSTRA offers a unique opportunity to contribute to this transformative infrastructure development.

Missions/Main Duties

As a Junior Engineer (Civil) Grade - 2, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in Construction Supervision & Monitoring.
- Managing Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and social aspects of the project.
- Preparing Manuals for construction, administration, operation, and maintenance of the Metro.




- Maintaining close liaison and acting as a bridge between the Team Leader and field units.

Profile/Skills
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field for Graduates.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field for Diploma holders.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
- Leadership Qualities: A self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
