Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area / Territory Manager to lead and manage field sales operations for Pune.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Insurance Sales, Field Sales, Team Management, Target Achievement, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management. Solid knowledge of the Pune market and proficiency in Marathi are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of field sales executives.
- Drive team performance to consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to improve business performance.
- Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance review sessions.




- Monitor individual and team sales performance and take corrective actions where required.
- Manage day-to-day field sales operations and ensure effective execution of business plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion.
- Ensure effective coordination between the field sales team and management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to improve sales effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading/managing field sales teams.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Mandatory proficiency in Marathi – spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of the Pune and Maharashtra local market.
- Candidate must be born and brought up in Pune.
- Strong knowledge of the Pune local market, customer base, and business ecosystem.
