Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Database Engineer/Architect who is passionate about cloud technology and has a deep understanding of AWS database services

Individual will work closely with customers to understand their unique business needs and provide expert guidance to ensure their database systems are secure, scalable, and performant

Individual must be capable of representing a DEVOPS team in application modernization and cloud migration projects providing direction and expert guidance.

Individual will be working closely with other technologists in areas such as Oracle, SQl servers, Postgre sql

What you'll Bring
- Experience deploying, implementing and managing database solutions on AWS including RDS, Aurora, EC2 and more
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and familiarity with other RDBMS like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket for managing SQL and database scripts is a MUST
- Strong Experience with CI/CD concepts and supporting tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI,



or GitHub Actions is a MUST
- Robust Experience scripting in shell , cloud formation tempaltes, terraform and azure
- Strong Experience with DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform or scripting tools) is a MUST
- Robust Experience with AWS RDS, S3, EC2, and cloud-based database services is a MUST
- AWS Solution Architectire certification is a MUST
- Experience with OEM administration and management, deploying management agents, troubleshooting, setting up metrics and alerts.
- Advance skill on shell scripting, crontab setup, design, review and implement automated solutions for routinary tasks.
- Database patching and update for Oracle / Grid software across version 11g up to 19c .
- RMAN backup recovery and restore procedure, deep understanding about recovery concepts, backup strategies and solutions.
- Dataguard administration, understanding and implementation of Failover / Switchover / Roll for
