SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To act as the strategic business partner and office manager to the General Counsel by driving governance, executive office management, board and committee coordination, legal operations, stakeholder management, regulatory coordination, financial governance, and strategic initiatives. The role serves as the central point of coordination across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Company Secretary, Business, HR and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of board-level priorities while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, governance and operational excellence.

Strategy and Planning

Partner with the General Counsel in driving strategic priorities, governance initiatives and departmental objectives.
Develop and monitor annual operating plans, departmental initiatives and strategic action trackers.
Coordinate Board, Board Committee and Executive Committee deliverables.
Prepare executive dashboards, MIS, presentations, briefing notes and governance updates for senior leadership.
Manage strategic projects and ensure timely execution of key initiatives across Legal Risk Management.
Prioritize the General Counsel’s strategic calendar based on organizational priorities.
Support transformation initiatives including digitization and process automation within Legal.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

Establish standardized operating procedures for the Office of the General Counsel.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, RBI guidelines and regulator
