Job Description
Application Support Engineer / Senior Application Support Engineer (L1/L2/L3)

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, primarily focused on Java and Spring Boot.
Shift Availability: Ability to reliably work night shifts (evening to overnight IST hours, Monday–Friday) to provide continuous support.
Core Technologies: Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Angular.
Cloud & Data: Experience with AWS for production deployments and familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.
Workflow Tools: Strong experience working within a ticket-driven operations workflow using JIRA,



along with standard version control (PRs and branch management).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical enterprise stakeholders.
Bonus Skills (Positive to Have): Background in financial forecasting/analytics, data pipelines, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Tableau.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Incident & SLA Management: Monitor application health during the night shift, triage incoming tickets, and resolve incidents promptly to meet contractual SLAs.
Bug Fixing & Development: Diagnose and resolve application defects in Java-based data pipelines and logic. Implement small-to-medium change requests spanning Finance, Marketing, and Acquisition use cases.
Deployment & Operations: Manage code deployments across staging and production environments on AWS, ensuring clean, testable, and well-documented code.
