Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Job Summary:
The RMO will be responsible for providing 24-hour/shift-based medical care to admitted and emergency patients, monitoring patient conditions, assisting consultants, and ensuring timely medical intervention and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessment of patients and monitor their clinical condition.
Attend to emergency cases and provide immediate medical management.
Conduct regular rounds of admitted patients.
Follow consultant instructions and implement treatment plans.
Monitor vital signs, investigations, medications, and patient progress.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
Respond promptly to changes in a patient's condition.
Maintain accurate patient case sheets, progress notes, and discharge documentation.




Assist consultants during procedures and clinical interventions.
Ensure proper shift-to-shift handover of patients.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment and follow-up as appropriate.
Follow hospital protocols for infection control, patient safety, and documentation.
Escalate critical cases to the concerned consultant without delay.
Eligibility:
MBBS from a recognized medical college.
Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
Previous hospital/RMO experience preferred.
Positive clinical judgment and communication skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night duty.
