About Nuvion
Nuvion is a private markets investment platform giving accredited investors access to high-quality, pre-IPO opportunities. Founded by a former Amazon Director of Product/Tech, we're building the infrastructure and research engine that helps investors evaluate and act on private company opportunities with the same rigor as public markets.
The Role
We're looking for someone who can do the deep-dive work of understanding private companies — valuations, funding history, cap tables, competitive positioning — and then translate that research into a newsletter our investor network actually looks forward to reading. This is a hybrid analyst/writer role: half investigator, half storyteller.
What You'll Do
• Research private companies in depth: funding rounds, valuations, cap tables, secondary market pricing, leadership, competitive landscape, and growth trajectory.
• Track and evaluate pre-IPO opportunities relevant to Nuvion's investor base.
• Source information through public filings, data providers (PitchBook, Crunchbase, Caplight, Forge, EquityZen),



VC/broker networks, and direct outreach.
• Write and publish a recurring newsletter that distills research into explicit, credible, and engaging insights for accredited investors.
• Build and maintain a repository of covered companies so research compounds over time rather than starting from scratch each cycle.
• Develop relationships with VCs, brokers, and industry contacts to strengthen deal flow and information access.
What We're Looking For
• Experience in equity research, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or financial journalism.
• Strong written communication — comfortable turning dense financial data into something readable and compelling.
• Familiarity with private market data sources and how to verify information that isn't always public.
• Self-starter mindset — this is an early-stage company, so structure and process are still being built, not inherited
