The CSR Journal is a leading digital media platform covering CSR, sustainability, business,
social impact, government, policy, national affairs, lifestyle and current affairs. We are
looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social
media presence across multiple platforms.

Job Purpose
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management, content
publishing, audience engagement and growth of The CSR Journal's social media handles.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of news and digital media, be
highly active on social platforms, and know how to turn stories into engaging social
content.

Minimum Experience - 2 years

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day publishing and scheduling of content across Instagram,
Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Identify significant and trending stories and convert them into engaging social
media formats.
Write compelling captions, headlines, hooks, post copy,



polls and CTAs suited to
each platform.
Create and coordinate Instagram Reels, carousels, static posts, stories, short-
form videos and other social-first formats.
Monitor trending topics, hashtags, conversations and breaking news relevant to
the publication.
Ensure timely publishing of breaking news and high-priority stories.
Work closely with the editorial, graphic design and video teams to develop social
media content.
Repurpose long-form articles, interviews, reports and videos into multiple social
media formats.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual/content identity across all handles.
Actively engage with the audience through comments, messages, polls and
interactive content.
Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports covering reach,
impressions, engagement, followers, views and other relevant KPIs.
