We’re Hiring: PLC/DCS Automation Engineer (Honeywell)

We are looking for a skilled PLC/DCS Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Honeywell Experion PKS, PLC/DCS programming, HMI/SCADA development, and commissioning support. Experience in Pharma, Chemical, Food & Beverage, or Process industries will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop PLC and DCS application software using Honeywell platforms.
- Configure and engineer Honeywell Experion PKS systems.
- Develop HMI/SCADA graphics, operator interfaces, alarm management, and trends.
- Perform I/O database creation, controller configuration, and tag mapping.
- Prepare Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Software Design Specifications (SDS), FAT & SAT documentation.

Configure field instruments, VFDs, control valves, transmitters, and industrial communication networks.
- Develop and troubleshoot control logic, interlocks, sequences, PID loops, and batch operations.
- Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT),



Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). commissioning, and startup activities.
- Integrate PLC/DCS systems with third-party equipment using Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, Profibus, Profinet, or similar industrial protocols.
- Troubleshoot automation issues during installation and commissioning.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process Engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Provide customer training and post-commissioning technical support,

Required Skills
- Strong experience with Honeywell Experion PKS.
- PLC & DCS programming and troubleshooting.
- HMI/SCADA development.
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC, Ethernet/IP Profibus, Profinet).
- Knowledge of control valves, transmitters, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation.
- PID tuning and process control.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs;, Control Narratives, Cause & Effect Matrix, and Instrument Index.
