Position Objective:

Drive engineering excellence by leading plant projects from concept to commissioning, optimizing manufacturing processes, and implementing creative solutions that enhance productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsible for researching new technology and suggesting engineering project proposals to the decision-makers.
Develop of Block Flow Diagrams (BFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;).
Ensure User Requirement Specifications (URS) are properly spelt out.
Prepare capex proposals and submit for approvals.
Maintain all the necessary documents such equipment lists, Process engineering calculations, material, and energy balances
Generate project status reports.
Interface with client and vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues, and assist with preparation of procurement documents.




Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies and propose the work methodology for process and plant engineering improvements.
Achieve Operational Excellence via efficient plant design, planning of workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout and ensure continuous improvement .
Ensure that requirements of ISO 9001 - 2008, HACCP, FAMI-QS and other internal and international standards are implemented and maintained.
Manage the departmental budget and controlling expenses effectively.
Effectively hire, train, develop, and appraise staff and take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
Develop and present management reports and presentations as required by the management.
