Roles And Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Engineer data models and data transformations
Determine what data extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations are necessary for a given requirement
Schedule, monitor, and debug data operations jobs
Work with data architects and other data engineers to implement requests from business stakeholders
Contribute to the continual improvement of standards and conventions in data organization
Communicate ideas and designs clearly to technical stakeholders




Explain the thinking behind design choices and approach technical criticism and suggestions with humility

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with substantial experience in data engineering, or 4 years of strong experience in data engineering, with robust expertise in data modeling and data architecture.
Strong experience with SQL, Python

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology
Understanding of code review/GitHub/version control
Understanding on designing & implementing data pipelines
Understanding on building AI-ready data foundations
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Data Bricks, Azure)
Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and software delivery efficiency.
