Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer Roads for our India based team. The individual we seek will take responsibility for the technical delivery of projects, will act as the primary interface between the UK and India, will have line management responsibility and will be fundamental in growing our ICRC capability. Reporting to the Head of Development Infrastructure based in the UK this role is considered business critical.

Responsibilities

A working knowledge of UK standards
Be experienced in 2 of the following 3 disciplines highways, drainage and earthworks
Have demonstrable line management capability
Demonstrate an ability to deliver projects to the correct technical standard within times and budgets agreed with the UK
Demonstrate a financial understanding of project delivery
Can actively communicate with colleagues in the UK
Be willing to undertake periodic visits to the UK

Qualifications

12+ years’ experience preferably CENG
Have the enthusiasm and energy to drive our growth strategy forward over the next 5 years in conjunction with our UK Head of DI.
