? Job Summary
We are looking for a Paravet – Hospital OPD to assist Veterinary Doctors in the smooth functioning of the hospital OPD. The role involves animal handling, assisting with consultations and treatment procedures, patient care, documentation and day-to-day veterinary hospital operations.
? Key Responsibilities
• Assist Veterinary Doctors during OPD consultations and examinations.
• Safely handle and restrain animals during examination and treatment.
• Assist with injections, wound dressing, medication administration and minor procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment care and monitor animals.
• Prepare and maintain examination/treatment areas, instruments and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards.
• Maintain patient and treatment records accurately.
• Monitor and maintain stock of medicines,



consumables and medical supplies.
• Assist with animal movement and handling within the hospital.
• Coordinate with Veterinary Doctors, Paravets, animal handlers and hospital staff.
• Follow hospital SOPs, safety procedures and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support the veterinary team in ensuring smooth and efficient OPD functioning.
? Candidate Profile
• Diploma/Certificate in Veterinary Paraveterinary, Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Assistant course.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Veterinary hospital/clinic/OPD experience will be an advantage.
• Valuable knowledge of animal handling and basic veterinary procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Compassionate, responsible and disciplined approach towards animal care.

Up to ₹25,000/month, based on experience, last drawn salary, skills and interview performance.
