Experience
10 – 16+ years in Web/Digital Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Analytics Consulting, with strong stakeholder-facing experience.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Web Analytics & Insights Consultant who can independently partner with business stakeholders, translate business questions into analytical requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
The client primarily uses proprietary/in-house analytics tools, so expertise in a specific web analytics platform is not mandatory. The candidate should instead have a solid understanding of web analytics concepts, digital measurement, user behavior, SQL, data visualization, and insight generation.
This is a senior, consultative role requiring strong communication, executive presence, and the ability to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical/data teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead discussions with senior business, marketing, product, web, and analytics stakeholders.
Gather requirements and translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
Analyze web and digital behavior including traffic, engagement, funnels, conversions, user journeys, segmentation, acquisition, drop-offs, and content/page performance.
Use SQL and query-building tools to extract, join, validate, and analyze large datasets.
Connect web data with marketing, customer, product, CRM, and operational datasets to develop end-to-end insights.
Perform exploratory analysis, root-cause analysis, trend analysis, and deep dives to answer what happened, why it happened, and what actions should be taken.
Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations for business decision-making.
Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, consultative manner.
Work closely with backend analytics/data teams and provide direction on analytical requirements and priorities.
