Job Summary:
The Logistics Support Engineer/Executive will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities for all Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely dispatch of materials from Indian suppliers and Foundry to the designated ports. The role requires close coordination with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, and the Germany Logistics Team to ensure on-time delivery, proper documentation, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:




Obtain quotations from local transport companies for domestic transportation.
Compare transport quotations based on cost, transit time, and service quality.
Coordinate with the Germany Logistics Team for transport approval and booking.
Finalize transportation arrangements to ensure timely movement of goods to the designated Indian ports.
Monitor shipments from supplier locations until delivery at the port.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and airlines based on project requirements.
Support the Germany Logistics Team in selecting suitable freight forwarders.
Coordinate vessel bookings, flight bookings, and shipment schedules.
Ensure shipments comply with export regulations and customer requirements.
Monitor all Purchase Orders and verify supplier-promised delivery dates.
Follow up regularly with Indian sub-suppliers and Foundry to ensure adherence to committed delivery schedules.
