Role Description The Unit Chef for Pure Veg Restaurant will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations for a vegetarian dining outlet in Pune City. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and executing pure vegetarian menus, supervising food preparation and cooking, and ensuring consistent taste, portioning, and presentation. The Unit Chef will manage kitchen staff, coordinate food service during peak hours, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in line with company policies. Responsibilities also include inventory management, cost control, coordination with procurement for quality ingredients, and implementing standard recipes and processes. The unit chef will collaborate with management to introduce recent dishes, respond to guest feedback, and support overall business growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Food Preparation and Culinary Skills, with proven expertise in pure vegetarian cuisine.




Candidates should possess solid Hygiene and Food Safety practices, including compliance with kitchen sanitation and regulatory standards.
Candidates should possess practical Cooking and Food Service skills, ensuring timely, high-quality dishes and smooth restaurant operations.
Relevant experience as a Unit Chef, Head Chef, or Sous Chef in a vegetarian or multi-cuisine restaurant setting.
Ability to lead and train kitchen teams, manage shifts, and handle high-volume service periods.
Knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and vendor coordination.
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
