Job Role

We are hiring a Senior Performance Testing and Performance Engineering professional to lead performance testing efforts for a major Java platform upgrade in a retail/e-commerce environment. This is a hands-on engineering role, not an execution-only testing position — the ideal candidate builds workload models, investigates root causes of performance issues, and drives fixes independently, working closely with application and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze performance tests using JMeter and LoadRunner across application layers
Build workload models based on production traffic patterns and business scenarios
Use Dynatrace (distributed tracing, SLOs, Davis AI, anomaly detection) to monitor performance and drive root cause analysis




Investigate and troubleshoot Java performance issues, including analysis relevant to the ongoing Java version upgrade
Identify response-time bottlenecks and correlate Dynatrace findings with application and infrastructure behavior
Tune application and server parameters, and recommend fixes based on findings
Partner with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues end-to-end
Present transparent, technically sound RCA and recommendations to technical and management stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

8-12 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on work in both Performance Testing and Performance Engineering
Expert-level, practical experience with Dynatrace: distributed tracing, SLOs, Workflows, anomaly detection, and Davis AI
Proven experience with JMeter and LoadRunner in production-scale testing
Strong Java performance analysis and troubleshooting skills
